The 19th Annual International Family Justice Center Conference
March 18 – 21, 2019
The EFJCA and the team of the Mutsaersstichting joined in March the 19th International FJC Conference in San Diego, organized by the U.S. Alliance for Hope International and provided on Thursday March 21 their joint workshop "Working with Families and Perpetrators in European Family Justice Centers’".
During this session the participants were informed how European FJC’s involve the work with families and perpetrators in their programs and how the Dutch MULTIFOCUS methodology from the Mutsaersstichting fits perfect in that program. The session showed the methodology in practice and provided the participants with results that showed that a holistic approach of domestic violence within the family and with all family members is absolutely effective and will reduce dramatically the rates of recidivism.
