During the pandemic (and few strong earthquake), Zagreb Child and Youth Protection Center (Croatia) produced over 250 useful materials in a free E-book. “CONNECTED Telephone and Online Counselling in Coping with the COVID-19 Pandemic and Its Consequences”.

Knowledge and experience

Gordana Flanders, chief of the Center and her colleagues shared their knowledge and many years of experience in working with children and youth, trauma, crisis interventions, depression, anxiety, abuse, etc. 16 authors contributed to this book, combining recent scientific knowledge and rich professional experience so far in providing support and protection to people in various crises.

Great interest

Most of these materials have been published in both Croatian and English. Many mental health professionals from other countries have shown the great interest in their publications and webinars on psychological counseling and providing psychological support in dealing with the pandemic and its consequences, so they translated the book to English.
