Bio Joëlle-Tetart

Joëlle Tetart is the coordinator of DIViCo (Interdisciplinary System for Combating Intimate Partner Violence) for Liège. DIViCo is one of the missions of the non-profit organisation Le Pôle de Ressources Spécialisées en Violences Intrafamiliales et Conjugales, alongside its training and supervision programmes and the French-speaking helpline dedicated to intimate partner violence.

Within DIViCo, Joëlle's work revolves around two concrete missions:

  • Daily risk assessment of femicide, suicide, murder or abduction of children.
  • Coordinating interdisciplinary safety plans for high risk cases.

She is also a member of the Advisory Council for Women's Rights of the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, where she contributes on the issue of domestic and family violence.
