Bio Mary-Louise Lynch

Mary-Louise Lynch is the Founding Director of SiSi – Survivors Informing Services and Institutions, an Irish survivor-led organisation working to transform responses to intimate partner abuse. Drawing on lived experience and a background in Women’s Studies, transformative leadership and group facilitation, she supports women to become leaders and be recognised as experts by experience.

Her work centres on post-separation abuse, family justice reform and meaningful survivor participation in policy and practice. Mary-Louise is Ireland’s expert representative on the European Women’s Lobby’s Observatory on Violence Against Women and a board member of the National Women’s Council.
