Title of the project
Towards safety together: integrating services for survivors of domestic violence

Project duration
6 months

Target groups

  • Victims of domestic violence - people experiencing violence who will have access to comprehensive support in one place, enabling them to quickly obtain psychological, legal, social assistance and information on shelters.
  • Assistance institutions (police, social assistance, NGOs) - representatives of local services and institutions, who will participate in training and interdisciplinary meetings, improving inter-institutional cooperation in the field of violence prevention.
  • Employees of the NON LICET Foundation - the Foundation's staff, who will benefit from training on the FJC and one-stop-shop model in order to be able to act effectively on behalf of victims of violence.
  • Local community (including residents of Wroclaw) - improvement of the quality of life in the community, including an increase in trust in aid institutions and a reduction in the burden on public services, which will contribute to improving the overall level of security.

Project summary
With the project “Towards Safety Together”, Fundacja NON LICET aims to improve support systems for survivors of domestic violence in Poland. Key goals include identifying barriers to accessing help, improving institutional responses, and building trust in support services.
The project focuses on faster, more coordinated assistance through integrated models like one-stop shops and, eventually, Family Justice Centers. By reducing secondary victimization and enhancing cooperation among services, the initiative seeks to ensure safer, more effective pathways to recovery for victims.

Project activities

  • Meetings with stakeholders to develop interdisciplinary cooperation aimed at establishing a one stop shop and then a Family Justice Center.
  • Training for Foundation staff and representatives of cooperating services on the model of interdisciplinary cooperation (one stop shop and Family Justice Centre).
  • Launching a one stop shop for coordinated assistance.

Qualitative results

  • Stakeholder meetings will result in concrete agreements and procedures that improve coordination between institutions, enhancing the effectiveness of interventions and increasing access to support for survivors. In the long run, they will create the foundation for establishing a Family Justice Center in Wroclaw, ensuring a more efficient and survivor-centered approach to addressing domestic violence.
  • Improved multidisciplinary collaboration: The training will equip participants with the skills to collaborate across legal, psychological, and social sectors to provide coordinated, comprehensive support to victims.
  • Improved victim support: The training will lead to a more holistic approach to assisting victims, ensuring they receive a range of services tailored to their needs, resulting in better outcomes for their safety and well-being.

Quantitative results

  • A research tool will be prepared - qualitative interview questionnaire.
  • At least 10 completed interviews conducted and 50 completed surveys that were conducted with the target group.
  • 1 report containing conclusions and recommendations for interdisciplinary cooperation and improvement of the process of assisting victims of violence.
  • 1 two-day training on multidisciplinary collaboration will be held.
