Conference 'One safe place for Hope and Empowerment' - 13 & 14 November 2019
The International Conference One Safe Place for Hope and Empowerment is organized by the European Family Justice Center Alliance (EFJCA) and the Family Justice Center Antwerp with support of the City Antwerp, the Flemish Government, the Province Antwerp and the Soroptimists clubs Antwerpen Anthos, Antwerpen and Antwerpen De Zes Rozen.
The conference will give forum to plenary speeches from distinguished guests and workshops/training sessions on a range of interesting topics in the ﬁeld of multidisciplinary approach.

- The role of working with perpetrators in the FJC
- The Multifocus Methodology
- Moral Deliberation
- The role of employers and companies in tackling domestic violence
Our colleagues from the U.S. Alliance for Hope, Gael Strack, founder of the FJC movement, Chan Hellman, Prof. Social Work, Univ. of Oklahoma, director of The Hope Research Center and James Henderson, trainer of US Oﬃce on Violence Against Women, will join our conference.

Conference location: The conference will take place on 13 and 14 November from 09.00 to 16.45 at the building of the Province of Antwerp, Koningin Elisabethlei 22, 2018 Antwerp.
The EFJCA made an agreement with the Hampton by Hilton Antwerp Central Station and managed to offer € 115,00 per night for a double room, including free hot breakfast and free high-speed and Wireless internet access.
